  1. OVERVIEW

We want you to love your hair! This return policy explains how to return or exchange products purchased from AKIRAKROWNSHAIR. Please read this policy carefully as hair extensions and wigs are considered hygiene products with specific return restrictions.

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

NOT Eligible for Return:

Products that have been installed, worn, or used. Products that have been washed, brushed, colored, cut, or styled. Custom-colored or specially ordered items. Products damaged due to misuse or improper care. Items returned after the 15-day return window. Products returned without original packaging or in unsellable condition.

If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2.DAMAGES AND ISSUES 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

3. HYGIENE & HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS


Due to health and hygiene regulations:

Used hair products cannot be resold and therefore cannot be returned. Once hair has been removed from packaging and exposed to air, it cannot be returned. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our hygiene standards

4. RETURN PROCESS

Step 1: Contact Customer Service Email at Akirakrownshairllc@gmail.com within 15 days of delivery.

Include your order number, reason for return, and photos of the product.

Our team will review your request and provide return authorization if eligible, Ship to the address provided in your return authorization

We recommend using a trackable shipping method

Step 3: Processing Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the item. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

5. REFUND OPTIONS

Full Refund: Available for unused products returned within 15 days 

Refunded to original payment method processing takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

6. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

Customer Responsibility:

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. We recommend insured, trackable shipping methods. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Our Responsibility:

We pay return shipping if the product was defective or incorrect. We pay return shipping if the error was on our end

7. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a defective or incorrect item:

Contact us immediately. Please provide receipts. Provide photos showing the defect or error. Full refund or replacement will be provided. No restocking fees apply.

8. DAMAGED PACKAGES

If your package arrives damaged:

Take photos of the package and contents immediately Contact the shipping carrier and file a claim. Contact our customer service within 48 hours. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue 

9. FINAL SALE ITEMS

Clearance items marked "Final Sale" cannot be returned. Custom orders and special requests are final sale.

11. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS 

International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Customs duties and taxes are not refundable. Return shipping must include tracking and insurance. Processing may take additional time for international returns

12. POLICY VIOLATIONS

Refused and returned to sender are subject to be denied for refund (item returned to customer at their expense).
